Research and Consultancy

InterCAFE conducts research and consultation by focusing on methodological, empirical and policy studies. The studies are primarily giving attentions to problems and challenges faced by Indonesia and other developing countries. These research and consultations are based on request from government institutions, development agencies and private institutions as well as InterCAFE initiative.

Training

InterCAFE provides trainings on applied economics and finance which are relevant for Indonesia and developing countries, such as: Business Forecasting, Risk Management training for banking sector, Statistics and Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Research Methodology, Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium Models, Regulatory Impact Assessments for local government, and Input Output Analysis.

Publication 

InterCAFE publishes its research output regularly in the form of working papers, research reports, monographs and books. Working papers can be downloaded directly from the website: www.intercafe.ipb.ac.id and the hard copies are not provided because the center has adopted a paperless office system. Most of commissioned research are kept in electronic files and cannot be accessed publicly. The soft copies of books and monographs (noncommissioned research paper) can be obtained upon request.

Focus on Indonesia and Emerging Markets Economy 

Applied studies conducted by InterCAFE are focused on the latest development issues, problems faced by Indonesia and developing countries. The quality of these researches is more improved since InterCAFE is active in conducting joint research with national and international institutions that produce high quality of research.
