Narrative description of Project:Concerning on the provision of financial services to the vulnerable and disadvantage groups at an affordable cost, financial regulators from more than 20 countries have made financial inclusion commitments under the “Maya Declaration”. Besides those declarations, a comprehensive approach to financial inclusion addresses at least three aspects: access to financial services and products; usage of financial services and products; and quality of financial services and products, defined by consumer ability to benefit from new financial services and products (and linked to consumer protection and financial capability) (Worldbank, 2012).Therefore, the main research question is how to promote financial inclusion in Indonesia? Related to the existing community empowerment and anti poverty program, that is PNPM, another main question is how could this program be improved in order to have significant contribution on financial inclusion?Therefore the main objectives of the study are providing assessment on:

1) the state of financial inclusion in Indonesia, and identifies constraints, opportunities, and priorities for significantly improving access to finance;

2) expanding the existing community empowerment and anti poverty program, PNPM for greater financial inclusion.

  1. Provide a literature review about financial inclusion and best practise of financial Inclusion national and international, and overview of PNPM-UPK
  2. Mapping/Typology/Classifications of  UPKs based on some performance criteria’s
  3. Organize team to conduct a fields survey in 4 city and first FGD with key stakeholder to collect a primary data
  4. Collecting a secondary data
  5. Entry data become national database
  6. First Report
  7. Second FGD in 4 city
  8. Validation data
  9. Final report
  10. FGD  in national scope with expertise stakeholder
  11. final report and recommendation

Narrative description of Project:Paradigm of sustainable development as the most inspiration to manage the entity of business is a triple bottom line of economic, social and environment. In the development context, now days the company not only faced with the responsibility of which only on single bottom line (corporate value) but also the social and environment dimension. Furthermore, the PT. Gunung Bara Utama (GBU) need to conduct a research of potential and need assessment to achieve the main objective of sustainability in the business activities and the convention of exploration.
